Baltic Press sp. z o.o. – publisher of the Baltic Transport Journal, an international printed bimonthly magazine devoted to transport, logistics and energy matters in the Baltic Sea region – is currently looking for a candidate to join our editorial team.
We are looking for committed journalists with fluent English, an analytical mind, very good communication and organizational skills, reliable and creative. Knowledge in the area of transport and logistics will be a competitive advantage.
Key responsibilities:
- Research and development of information needed to write or edit complete and accurate material
- Collecting, analyzing, selecting, and combining information from a variety of sources to develop coherently written products
- Developing a story or content ideas, considering reader or audience appeal; conferring with editorial staff members
- Reading, evaluating and editing materials submitted for publication and contacting authors regarding changes in content, style or publication
Key requirements:
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work to effectively accomplish assignments
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in speaking and in writing
- Knowing the importance of deadlines
- Ability to conduct research via the Internet to obtain related photographic and/or graphic support for insertion into the periodic publications
We are looking for someone either to join us on a full-time basis in our office in Gdynia, or support us in part-time freelance cooperation, potentially also as remote job.
