photo: postanawiampomagac.plAlthough Emilka Wójcik is only 10 years old, she is already an expert on what is important in life. For five years she was treated at the Cape of Hope pediatric oncology clinic in Wrocław. She had cancer twice. Both she and her whole family - mom Iza, dad Łukasz and brother Filip - know perfectly well how much the help received in a difficult moment means.
This is how a unique, childhood dream was born. That everyone who needs it receives help. And that the whole world hears: helping is beautiful, and asking for help is no shame. Emilka decided to urge people to help each other. And not to forget on a daily basis how important helping is.
- We are doing the biggest campaign in the world. We will help each other because only this way can it be cool - explains Emilka in videos on Facebook. - I thought that this helping should return to us all.
The opportunity is perfect. The time for making New Year`s resolutions is ongoing. Emilka encourages adding one short but very important one to your list for next year: I RESOLVE TO HELP! She does this on the internet. In social media.
What needs to be done? It`s simple!
Emilka`s dream is a viral in social media. Thousands of entries from people from all over Poland, in which they will tell, show and describe how they help. Each other, animals, nature. Because you can help in a million ways. And every such entry can be an inspiration for other people. It will drive a spiral of good.
- These do not have to be big things. They can also be small - says Emilka. - It is important to help each other when someone cannot cope!
To join Emilka, three simple steps are enough:
- Help someone. Look around and do a good deed
- Write in your social media how you help and why it is worth doing it
- Add the hashtag #pomagam2026 to the description
And done! If you want, invite other people. To collect as many good deeds as possible. How many? It will be possible to follow this live. On the website postanawiampomagac.pl works a counter that shows how many entries with the hashtag #pomagam2026 appeared on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and on platform X.
Emilka`s allies
Unique allies will tell how much helping means in their lives and how they experienced it themselves. Many famous and liked people have already decided to support Emilka in realizing her dream.

- Jarosław Boberek,
- Tomasz Zubilewicz,
- Karol Wójcicki
will be guests of a New Year`s podcast, in which editor Paweł Gołębski will ask them questions that are hard to find in interviews published daily in the media and on the internet. Answers and honest confessions may be a surprise even for the biggest fans. Just like the guest list, which gets longer every day.
The podcast will be available to watch on Youtube and on the website of Emilka`s viral. You will also find street polls there, during which Emilka`s friends will ask how we help on a daily basis. Intriguing curiosities about helping from all over the world will also be found here. What kind? For example, prof. Jan Miodek will tell where this word came from in our language at all. And that is just for the start.
- We, adults, let ourselves be charmed by Emilka`s dream. She has been our charge for many years, that is why we decided to help too - explains Agnieszka Perczyk from the Foundation Save the Children with Cancer. - We created a website for Emilka, we share our social media and helped prepare larger formats. However, the greatest strength is in people who will carry Emilka`s dream further into the world. They will take up the New Year`s challenge and help each other. This is the goal to which we want to add our brick.
New elements will appear daily on the website postanawiampomagac.pl. What kind? Everything in the hands of the participants. After all, anyone can join.
Wind-up hearts. Will the song from friends be a hit?
It is already known for sure that on December 31, on New Year`s Eve, the song "Wind-up hearts" will premiere. Its creation is a story that is suitable for a movie script. Young poet Malwina Krawczyk, who is also treated at the Cape of Hope, upon hearing about Emilka`s dream wrote a poem.
Its words charmed Weronika Mrugała, today a medical student who as a child also suffered from cancer and was a patient of the same clinic. And since Weronika is also a talented vocalist, the puzzle was almost ready.
It was completed by Wrocław artist Dawid Makowski, who composed the music, and the choir of students of the High School No. 1 in Ostrzeszów. Finally, the Capitol Musical Theatre in Wrocław lent the stage for recording the music video. The effect? It may be a New Year`s hit.
Emilka - as she says herself - believes that good comes back. In the new year we can all find out about it. It is enough to let yourself be persuaded by the ten-year-old to fulfill her dream. A dream that is just for us.
- The viral is conducted on all social platforms under the hashtag #pomagam2026
